So Round Top/Warrenton Antiques Week came to and end on Easter Sunday. I had the pleasure of spending two days shopping the wares at this show. Did I mention how much I love it? In case you missed that little fact I thought I would share some pictures of friends, things that inspired me and what I did with a few of my treasures once I got them home. As to not bore you with a novel today I will spread the fun over a few posts. There was a lot of goodness going on. You must go if you have the chance. I am already salivating at the thought of the Fall trip. Check out these tips before you head out!
Lunch with my lovely hunting partners. What an amazing bunch of women. Side note – we have 22 kids between us. That takes a lot of coordinating to make a day like this happen!!! Thanks to all who helped back home.
This booth always has amazing finds. The yellow biscuit display would make a fabulous book shelf. Love all the industrial objects that have great purpose in organizing
Here are a few fun things that inspired me along. Along with the incredible women I was blessed to spend the day with. We had a blast searching out treasures for each other, making new friends, catching up with old ones and keeping up with the two wild hairs that kept wandering off from the bunch! you know who you are…Melissa and Julie…

I made it home with a sugar mold this trip. It isn’t old or one of a kind, but I have been wanting one and I am so glad I scooped one up. It inspired me to go wildflower hunting. Easter Sunday afternoon two of my three kiddos jumped in the car with me and we headed out on a wildflower shopping adventure. They loved it.
Those little eyes are precious and GOOD at seeing places to stop. We hit the side roads and just wandered around for an hour or so. Traipsing through fields and roadsides we gathered up pretties. Word to the wise…if you become inspired to follow our lead take a few things with you. Take gloves (lots of pretties have pokies), a few pair of scissors or shears so everyone can help, wear boots and a bucket is great at holding your finds. You don’t have to spend a lot of money (none even!) to brighten your home and make it alive with fresh flowers. Here is what we found and how my daughter and I put it together…In Mae’s words…”fun hunting, free flowers and a pretty Easter arrangement, it doesn’t get better than this.” #teachemyoung #myheartisfull
We gathered all these wildflowers in less than an hour

If you’ve seen my posts lately, you know I LOVE all the flowers that are blooming!!! You’ve inspired me to pick some and try my hand at arranging them. I have some test tube vase that I’ve used in the past for sweet flowers that my kiddos bring me! And, I would LOVE to go with you to Round Top in the fall! And, if you ever come across a reasonably priced!) card catalog, I’m interested! 🙂 Great post! Thanks for sharing!

1. So jealous you got to go to Round Top! On my bucket list, but living on the East Coast complicates things! 🙂
2. When I read your Before and After post about your home (and heart!), I couldn’t help but think of FixerUpper and Chip and Joanna Gaines — and then I found a post about Round Top! 🙂 🙂
3. Love, love your table centerpiece with the wildflowers!
4. Glad I found you on the Life of Faith link party (my first visit there!) — really like your site so far and I am looking forward to exploring here.

Aren’t we lucky we live close by such a fun shopping experience? Lisa, I will say a pray for God’s hand to be over your insurance situation. Events like that are never fun. I am so glad you liked the home tour and I hope you will say hi if you see me at Round Top! I will be there with bells on!
